The apartment offers a beautiful frontal sea view, with a unique panorama of the harbour channel, the pier and Zeebrugge. At the front and back there is a terrace, with a table and four chairs to enjoy the sun.

Inside you will find a spacious living room with a lounge area, relax chairs and a dining table for six, two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Two lifts take you upstairs in no time. Suitable for 1 to 6 people.

The apartment sits on the seafront promenade, by the wind shelters — within walking distance of the centre, with the marina just around the corner.

Parking: paid in the surrounding area; free all year round with a disabled parking card. All zones, rates and free parking options: parkeren.be/blankenberge.

The seafront in July & August: from 1 July to 31 August the seafront promenade is closed to all traffic from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; it stays open until 12 noon only on the 1st, 15th, 16th and 31st. The police monitor this continuously. Loading and unloading is via the Franchommelaan (parallel to the dike). Cyclists may use the seafront roadway all year round (the walkway is a pedestrian zone).

GPS: Zeedijk 62, Blankenberge. If the seafront is closed, enter Havenstraat, drive to the end and walk to the dike — the apartment is 50 m to the left.

Booking & payment

  • Booking is done directly with the owner (no estate agents or intermediaries).
  • Advance payment: 30% of the rental price on booking (never refunded in case of cancellation).
  • Security deposit: €300, refunded within 14 days after departure.
  • Balance: to be paid no later than 8 weeks before arrival.
  • Subletting is not allowed.

Utility costs

  • Water, electricity and heating are not included and are charged at cost price, per unit.
  • Meter readings (electricity, hot and cold water, heating per radiator) are recorded on arrival and departure and settled with the deposit.
  • Tampering with or damaging the meters is charged to the tenant.
  • Internet and TV are included.

Cancellation

  • The advance payment is never refunded.
  • Cancelled more than 8 weeks before the start: the advance payment remains definitively due.
  • Within 8 weeks before the start: the full rental price is due.
  • Partial cancellation: the full amount for the reserved period remains due.

Damage & cleaning

  • The €300 deposit covers any damage; damage above €300 is charged to the tenant.
  • The apartment is thoroughly cleaned and inspected after every rental period.
  • The final cleaning (€80) is always taken care of by us.

Bed linen & sleeping

  • To bring yourself (mandatory): sheets, duvet covers AND pillowcases, plus an extra mattress protector.
  • Provided: duvets (single), pillows and mattress protectors.
  • Bedroom 1: two single beds (200 × 90 cm).
  • Bedroom 2: a double bed (200 × 160 cm).
  • Living room: a sofa bed for two (200 × 140 cm).

House rules

  • No pets — we keep the apartment allergen-free. If a pet is nevertheless found, the deposit is withheld for additional cleaning.
  • Smoking is only allowed on the front and back balcony, not indoors.
  • Fondue, gourmet and deep-frying appliances are not allowed indoors.

Good to know

What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrival times are 12 noon or 4 p.m., departure times 12 noon or 9 p.m., depending on the chosen stay formula. Check the availability calendar when making your choice.
Are pets allowed?
No. For the sake of our regular guests we keep the apartment allergen-free; pets are not allowed. If a pet is nevertheless found, the deposit is withheld for additional cleaning.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed indoors, only on the front and back balcony. Fondue, gourmet and deep-frying appliances are not allowed indoors.
What is included in the rental price?
Wifi and TV are included. Water, electricity and heating are not included and are charged separately at unit price, settled with the deposit. The final cleaning (€80) is always taken care of by us.
Do I need to bring my own bed linen?
Duvets, pillows and mattress protectors are provided. Sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and an extra mattress protector you bring yourself; their use is mandatory.
How many people is the apartment suitable for?
For 1 to a maximum of 6 people, spread over two bedrooms — one with two single beds (200×90), one with a double bed (200×160) — and a sofa bed for two (200×140) in the living room.
How do payment and cancellation work?
On booking you pay a deposit of 30% (non-refundable) and a security deposit of €300. The balance is due no later than 8 weeks before arrival. In case of cancellation within 8 weeks before the start, the full rental price is due. Subletting is not allowed.
